Networking is a critical skill for improving your odds of finding and harvesting job opportunities.
To be efficient and effective at networking it is important to construct a master list of contacts from which
you can retrieve contact information quickly and in one spot.
There are several tools available to accomplish this task:
> e-mail
> a social networking membership (i.e. Linkedin.com, Facebook.com, myspace.com etc.)
> rolodex
> daily planner or address book
Whether it is computer-based or not, it's simply important to have a master list, that is in one place where all the names
of those you could potentially contact, with some sort of contact and descriptive information.
