Welcome!

This site is about helping people understand and navigate the job search process.

It has been constructed by Mark Vibert, a business strategy professional in New York, who, after many years with a Fortune 500 consumer goods company, experienced the job search process first-hand when his job was eliminated.

While he was fortunate to have been provided access to outplacement services, he did extensive research on his own, scouring the World Wide Web for additional advice and perspectives on the process. He also developed and executed his own innovative steps to help lead him to new employment.

Having shared this information and his experience-based insights informally more and more with friends and colleagues who themselves faced searching for employment, he decided to put this knowledge and experience together in one place on this website.

There are many many job hunting advice sites out on the web. Most tend to focus on certain areas of the process, typically the obvious ones like resume writing or interviewing skills. Few, if any, layout the job search process in an organized, step by step fashion, offering concrete, practical how-to advice and providing links to expert advice found on the internet. That is the design objective of this site.

Since we don't accept advertising at this time, a small, one-time fee of $15 (with a 14-day money back, satisfaction guarantee) is required for total access to this site to help defray website development and maintenance costs.
